Minister Chen and his counterparts of India, Brazil and South Africa Held talks in Davos

  

Chinese Minister of Commerce Chen Deming, Indian Minister of Commerce & Industry Anand Sharma, Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota, South African Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davies held four-party talks, exchanging in-depth views on enhancing coordination and communication between developing countries on jointly pushing forward the Doha Round Negotiations.

Trade Ministers from the four countries issued a statement, reiterating commitment to pushing forward Doha Round Negotiations, stressing outcome of negations so far are balanced, and not allowing to make any change on negotiation mandate and the nature of the development round, and not giving up achievements made, and calling on WTO members to strengthen cooperation to conclude the Doha Round Negotiations as soon as possible.

Chen also talked separately with Indian Minister of Commerce & Industry Anand Sharma and Brazilian Foreign Minister Antonio Patriota and exchange views on Doha Round Negotiations.
